The Fault In Our Stars is a fabulous book about a young teenage girl who has been diagnosed with cancer but unlike other cancer books, this is a warm book full of love and sparkling moments.
Hazel Grace Lancaster is 16 and is unwilling to go to the support group, but she soon realizes that it was a good idea. Hazel meets a young boy named Augustus Waters. He is charming and humorous.
Augustus has had osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, but has recently had the all-clear. Hazel and Augustus develope feelings for each other, including love, sadness, and romance, while searching for the author of their favorite book. They travel to Amsterdam in search of Peter Van Houten the author of An Imperial Fiction. While on their trip Augustus breaks some heartbreaking news to Hazel and both of their worlds fall apart around them.

There will be no one left to remember Aristotle or Cleopatra, let alone you. Written so beautifully your heart and emotions melt, you come to be a part of this group as well as their families, their triumphs, and their losses. The friendships, as well as the depths the families go through preparing for the worst while holding out hope, is like a beacon of light. The courage and humor, the energy and despair all keep you on a roller coaster of emotion. Green takes you on a journey both terrible and beautiful.
Sometimes, you read a book and it fills you with this weird evangelical zeal, and you become convinced that the shattered world will never be put back together unless and until all living humans read the book.
If you enjoy young adult books, full of witty humor and heartbreaking events, this book is perfect for you. Expect to laugh, cry and smile throughout this masterpiece by the amazing John Green. I highly recommend this book. If you are interested in reading a good book this fall, this book is absolutely a good choice.
